Javier, feeling isolated during a family dinner, finds comfort in an old book from his parents filled with Incan legends. When his tear falls onto the page, the book glows, Javier and his pet Lomo are transported to a celestial realm. As his grandfather realizes he’s missing, Javier and Lomo arrive in a vibrant city celebrating a festival.
Supay introduces himself and lifts Javier’s spirits, but when Lomo runs off, they chase him to the ocean where the water goddess Qocha holds him. Javier struggles against the current until Qocha teaches him an emotional lesson using water as a metaphor.
At sunrise, they meet Inti, the sun god. As the sun rises and the crowd cheers, Inti nervously seeks approval, opening up about his own struggles of expectations. Through shared vulnerability, Inti offers Javier wisdom on carrying life's burdens and points him toward Pacha Mama’s domain for the next step in his journey.
Pachamama insists Javier must return home, but he begs to be with his parents. Through Pachamama’s wisdom and Supay’s reassurance, Javier learns that moving forward doesn’t mean letting go of love. Ready to face life again, Javier rides a magical Pucara Bull back into the mortal realm. Reunited, he falls into his grandfather’s arms, realizing that the love he longed for was never lost — it had been quietly waiting for him all along.
"Sometimes I'm big, sometimes I'm small — but I'll always be part of your story. Life and memory walk together, just like Pachamama and me." - Supay
